Abundant Harvest Bible Institute
Building Believers For Life
Bethany Baptist believes that living the Christian life means always learning for God’s people. That’s why our Education Ministry exists – to build believers through the teaching of God’s Word. From our Abundant Harvest Bible Institute to our Discipleship Class and much more, we’re transforming the lives – and minds – of adults and even children and teens through the power of God’s Word to us.
Embrace Class (Discipleship)
Our Embrace Class is for new members of Bethany Baptist and new converts to the family of God. Ministers In Training
The Abundant Harvest School of Ministry is a biblically based school with emphasis in preparing pastors, preachers and teachers for effective gospel ministry.
Through a trimester format, the student is prepared to effectively develop and exercise his or her spiritual gifting. By first laying a strong biblical foundation, we then teach the student the implementation of that biblical foundation in specific areas.
The ministers and teachers school offers an intense study of thematic revelation in the Old and New Testaments. Thematic revelation is founded in sound biblical doctrine while expanding the students’ conceptualization of biblical truth.
The elements of preaching with purpose are offered to increase the overall effectiveness and power of the preacher during the preaching moment. Style, purpose, introduction, delivery and effective invitations are just a few of the areas of study.
Basic to advanced hermeneutics, effective, accurate exegesis, moves and structures of homiletics along with the role, relationship, and perception of ministry ethics complete the curriculum.
