MISSION
Way of Escape’s mission is to provide innovative and relevant programs and services designed to educate, empower and inspire individuals with diabetes, and at-risk populations to stop the spread of diabetes.
OVERVIEW
Way of Escape, a health and wellness program fosters a comprehensive approach to diabetes prevention, detection and management. A variety of events and initiatives are held throughout the year to raise awareness about the seriousness of diabetes, particularly when left undiagnosed or untreated. Way of Escape has a two-fold purpose:
• Stop the spread of complications for diabetics
• Prevent development of diabetes in at-risk populations
Way of Escape works in concert with the American Diabetes Association and other health-oriented entities to equip individuals with knowledge and resources to stop the spread of diabetes making life without diabetes and living empowered an achievable reality.
