Rev. Ralph Benjamin is a committed man of God who loves the Lord with all that is within him. He is a native of Sharon Hill, PA and God has given him the opportunity to preach, teach and minister to his community and beyond.
Rev Ralph enjoyed a fulfilling career in Human Resources Management and Social Services until God called him to a greater work. In 1999 he accepted God’s call and was licensed to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He was ordained in 2001. He also served as Assistant to the Pastor in his previous ministry. He attended Lincoln University and in 2001 he completed studies at Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Sonia Benjamin is a committed servant of God. She is a results oriented administrative leader with experience in Human Resources, Operations, Customer Service, Quality Assurance and Facilities Management. She is a team player with expertise in implementing organizational policies and procedures.
A longtime student of the bible, she has taken several biblical courses with AHBI and EBTS Seminary. In a previous ministry she held the positions of Church Secretary and Secretary to the Pastor.
Members since 2008 they are honored to have the opportunity to serve together in ministry at Bethany. He is a member of the Elders Council, serves with the Pastoral Care Ministry, DGEM Prayer Line, POG Armor Bearer, Catch the Fire Initiatives and Manna Ministry. Sonia serves with Dream Challenge, Catch the Fire Initiatives, POG Armor Bearer, DGEM Prayer Line, and is a dedicated member of the Manna Ministry.
Committed to the cause of Volunteerism in the church, they believe that” we are blessed to be a blessing to someone else”. Their favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”
