Alisa “Lisa” R. Smith has been a member of Bethany Baptist Church under the shepherding of Bishop David G. Evans since 1993. Lisa currently serves as Personal Assistant to Bishop David G. Evans. Gifted with organizational skill, she also is our Communion and Wedding Coordinator.
During her time at Bethany Baptist, Lisa has also been involved in many other ministries, such as JAM (Jesus and Me), PTA, Youth Ministry, the Ensemble Choir (member/secretary), church receptionist, and the Praise Dance Team.

After joining Bethany, Lisa discovered her love for serving God’s people, which landed her in the Administrative Office where she served as a volunteer for five and a half years. As she continued to serve, the Lord blessed her in all she did here. She is a perfect example of Bishop Evans’ teaching you will reap a harvest if you remain committed, dedicated, and sold out to what the Lord has placed on your heart.
Lisa is the proud mother of two young adult children – daughter Shanta’ Tara and son Barry Terrell, both members of Bethany Baptist.
